The e-report for the Commercial Aerospace Industry.
By the end of February this year the large commercial
jet backlog had reached a new record high of 7,231 aircraft. The total jet engine requirement for all aircraft on firm backlog
is now over 15,100 engines. What is interesting about the current backlog is that at the end of March the First Quarter figure
will not only be a new record but it will also be the 15th consecutive end-of-Quarter increase.
The March issue has all the latest figures including
details of individual aircraft program production rates this year and in 2009. It also has detailed figures on the
current order, delivery and backlog status of all jet aircraft programs.
The March 2008 issue is the latest available. Go to the Contents link to see what is in that issue. To purchase the March issue, click on the Single Copy Order button.
